Meet John Pehrson

John has been a licensed realtor for more than 40 years. His expertise covers Farm and Ranch, Homes, Building Sites, Development and High-End River Front Properties. He also works closely with Buyers seeking profitable investments in Real Estate. In 1973, John co-founded an internationally acclaimed fly-fishing resort on the historically rich Teton River. With his partner Randy Berry, they operated Teton Valley Lodge for over 33 years. John has been guiding fly fishing trips for over 65 years, has owned two international fly-tying companies, and has hosted fly fishing trips all over the world. John began his real estate career with Continental Real Estate in the early 1980s, and, over the years, has worked with American Realty West/Brewer Land Company, Jackson Hole Sotheby’s International Realty, Huntsman Springs Real Estate, Four Peaks Real Estate, and All West Real Estate. As of 2019, he founded his own Real Estate Brokerage, Wild Rose Realty, which is currently licensed in Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming.

John is the Principal/Designated Broker. There will be many brokerages which claim they can offer international exposure and that you should therefore list with them. Alma’s Lodge/Teton River Lodge/Teton Valley Lodge is an institution. it has always been a fly fishing camp and will always be a fly fishing camp. It is a place to come and get away from the tribulations and toils of the world. As you float down these majestic rivers and watch the wildlife and attempt to catch and release the noble trout, your cares, if only for a moment, drift away. Alma was a simple man with simple needs. his life was filled with joy because of his family, his religion, his clients, and his passion for fishing. I learned early on that no matter who owns Alma’s Lodge, and no matter by what name it is known, it will always be Alma’s Lodge. The owners of the lodge are only stewards of the lodge on behalf of Alma Kunz.
